Natives serve in the military more than any other ethnic group in the U.S. I believe this because we are warriors or Akichita. Our Native American culture goes back centuries. As of 2012 there were 22,000 active duty service members and 150,000 U.S. Native American Veterans according to the Department of Defense. We also got recognition because Congress passed a legislation to fund the National Museum for a Native American exhibit. This will honor Native American veterans for the service they do for the country.
